Dexen, or MUE 923 A, is a planet not too far from what we know, discovered by the Tellus Mater spaceship. With its qualities so similar to Earth's, humans decided it would be a good place to build a new future, as our planet was clearly in a very decadent and irreparable state.
Dexen was then colonized by our species, which wiped out almost all of their culture and autochthonous traditions, resulting in the near extinction of their rich past, their language, and even their alphabet. Species were also forced to turn humanoid.
Today, there is still a silent war between humans and non-humans, which is what causes the appearance of these strange and supernatural crimes and ways to harm the other side of the conflict.

Queen, their moon, whose "scar" is a curious spiral of yet unexplained origin, has been there since the most archaic days of what they call home. The moon seems to be everywhere; from any kind of ancient representation scribbled with a pen, to illustrations of folk tales that do not even try to mention it, to current political campaigns, fashion, designs... And it also seems to be something that only non-humans fully understand; a sign that only appears in those who are not human. Why do they love their spiral so much...?

The Dexian alphabet bears a strong resemblance to the Latin alphabet, from which it was heavily influenced. Unfortunately, in the process of conversion for humanoid adaptation, several characters that did not fit the human language in any of the alphabets brought to Dexen were lost and forgotten in the past. Today, the alphabet is composed of these glyphs, plus the addition of the number system we know, as the ancient Dexian number system treated quantities in a completely different way with vertex counting.

In Dexen, gastronomy is of great importance due to the wide range of diets that survive all over the planet. Therefore, any food is accepted to carry out interesting mixtures and recipes that can be at least peculiar to human eyes. Here's just a glimpse of what you can see in the book, as you'll find detailed descriptions in there!

First is the predominant value in the area of Oqualeo, in Arona. The frero is the most archaic coin in all of Dexen, made of titanium, with graphics that refer to legends and elements of the planet's culture. It has a single coin of one value (1) and three banknotes (5, 25, 100).
The lode is the currency of the rest of Vria. It is a fairly neutral value, of average cost between the frero and the alpe. You could say that it has a value similar to the euro. It consists of three coins (1, 3, 5) minted in aluminum and four banknotes (20, 50, 100, 200).
The alpe is the value corresponding to the human continent of Vria. It's the highest value in Dexen. It consists of seven coins minted in cupronickel (0.1, 0.25, 0.5, 1, 2, 5, 10) and three banknotes (20, 50, 100). It costs about twice as much as the frero.

There are many, many species in Dexen, and many of them have yet to be discovered or documented. But you need not worry: the book does a great job summarizing the details of those that appear in the arcs. These will be brief descriptions, gathering simple information and curious facts that might interest you. Keep in mind this planet is huge and old, so of course, these are not the only ones living there.
The book contains information about the decarpias, shadows, elves, illusions, shapeshifters, pysgods, ghosts and spirits, fairies, dreamcatchers, dyres, beasts and wizards (their four kinds). Be sure to enjoy them!
